Personal Coaching supplies you with a training program customized to your individual needs. You will work closely with Adam, your personal coach, who will provide you with workouts, feedback, and ongoing guidance to help you navigate around obstacles toward your target goals.
Once you subscribe to Personal Coaching, you will receive the Athlete Questionnaire to gather necessary information about your training/racing history, goals, work/life schedule, etc. After you’ve returned the questionnaire, Adam will set up an initial phone consultation to further discuss your background and goals. With this information, he will do a complete evaluation of your unique needs and design your training program.
Once you start your training, workouts will be delivered directly to your Training Peaks training log. The coach asks that you use a GPS/HR monitor to record workouts and upload the data to your log. Maintaining your training log–by recording completed workouts and jotting down subjective comments after key workouts–will provide the coach with important feedback on your training. This allows the coach to analyze your progress, gather insight into your unique needs as an athlete, and tailor your training accordingly.

Coached athletes living in the Los Angeles and Pasadena areas are encouraged to schedule a Personal Training Session at least once per month to work with Adam in person. All athletes are encouraged to take advantage of Video Form Analysis for periodic assessments and recommendations to help target and overcome weak spots.
