We recommend a fullsuit for most triathletes. Fullsuits (i.e. wetsuits with arms) provide extra buoyancy as well as warmth. Back in the day, faster swimmers preferred sleeveless wetsuits for the greater range of motion they often provided. But wetsuit technology has improved leaps and bounds since those days, and lack of shoulder mobility is no longer an issue.
